I think that role is going to Brian Polian.
Brian is son of Bill Polian, one of the greatest NFL GMs of the last few decades. And his brother, Chris Polian, is Director of Pro Personnel for the Washington Football Team in the NFL.

Now that is an excellent bloodline there. He should meet and exceed what his predecessor did.
