1. I really hate that we are seeing the beginning of the end of the pocket passer. They are a dying breed.
  2. Superbowl win = big contracts for players. A Carolina win actually helps the Saints by dismantling the Panthers a bit.

  3. I have to disagree. Most of the teams in the playoffs had pocket passers. Russel and Smith are more scramblers than runners. Cam is just a freak of nature.
  4. Frack Carolina....but yep, you're right. They may beat Denver as bad as Seattle did 2 years ago.
  5. And all those guys are old and won't be in the league in 5 years except Rodgers.
  6. It does show what style of play is most dominant. Dual-threat type guys have been a few years and out.
  7. Yeah right now there are still some pro style guys that are in their prime. But look at the college game, look at all the qb's. I guess Winston could have some longevity and Luck, but it seems now for every 1 pro style guy there are 100 dual threat guys.
  8. Cyclical. Like most things.
  9. Can't stand him and hope he gets hurt in practice before the Super Bowl, but a freak he most definitely is. He's always had a cannon for an arm, but where he's most improved IMO is his accuracy. Dude's been throwing darts all season.

  10. How many of those dual threats translate to the NFL? Very few. Of the starters from this year that were drafted after 2008 only three are true dual threat guys. Some can run, like Wilson or Smith, but I wouldn't call them dual threat. Only two of those guys were in the top 10 for QB rating and none in the top 10 for yardage.
