After reworking Lattimore's deal, the Saints are now $5.9 million under the cap. And that's with Turner, Werner, and Book signed. Loomis and Harley are salary cap sorcerers! Signing priorities now, imo: 1. veteran CB, 2. Kwon, 3. veteran WR
This year is probably a good year to take a break on the Saints. They got a lot of stuff to figure out. Meanwhile, have you seen how many LSU players are on those Ohio teams?

Saints finalizing trade with Texans today for CB Bradley Roby. Don't know what they'll be giving up for him, but I like this addition a lot. He has to serve a 1-game suspension, so we don't get him until week 2, but I like the look of our roster once we get him, Thomas, Onyemata and Harris back. Concerned about DT depth, and still have to see exactly where we are at WR (is Callaway the real deal? And who is WR3?). Then of course, there's Jameis. If Payton has accomplished his QB whisperer thing with him, we should be in good shape for the long haul.
Saints have signed Lattimore to a 5-year, $96 million contract extension, making him the second highest paid corner in the league. Also announced he will need surgery for a thumb injury suffered yesterday. It's possible he may not have to miss any games for this, not clear yet.
