    That is a good one!

Here's a classic Bama signature worthy: "We Bowlin Baby"

Huh. That must have been before 6-6 and a loss to ULM.

Dandy Don is wrong on this one. Once you graduate you have to leave the high school system. You just can't keep going to high school at the tax payer's expense.

Sorry I don't really keep up with recruiting much... but doesnt it seem that 7 maybe EIGHT DBs in one class is a lot?

Well, we often have 5 or 6 on the field, and 2 of the DBs from last year's class are rumored to be too short so not really.

why are we just figuring out these guys are too short. I'm not sure if I believe it, but if it is true isn't this something the staff should have realized before accepting their commitments? Maybe they expected them to grow an inch or two?

Thats exactly what I was thinking. If people are too short to play, why recruit them?

Well, one - it's very possible that they would continue to grow (they just apparently haven't). Secondly, they will be great special teams players even if they never contribute at CB, but they have to have a position on the depth chart.

Don't forget that sometimes we have them put on a few pounds and move the ones that play safety to the LB position. Gives us more speed and possible better coverage skills at the position. Only down side is they may not be big enough to shed blocks in the running game.
