Tigers do not bond with their mate, and it's not a loving act, when it's over they go their separate ways. No fun for tiger, artificial insemination is the norm in zoo's. It's a risky business breeding tigers,.. some years ago in Sacramento, a female was brought to a male, they were kept close but separate for months, until the keepers were sure they'd get along, finally they let them together, he killed her in less than a minute.
