Agreed. But improving and finishing the season strong will garner bonus points. The committee isn't suppose to weigh end of season wins over early season wins, but they do.
Finish at or near the top of the conference, plus win a couple of games in the SEC tourney, and they are in.

Yeah, I get that sense, too. After the Vandy win, and esp. after the UK win, they were saying similar things, and most are saying we don't need to go undefeated in the SEC, just win most. If we beat Ole Piss Tuesday, we'll be 3-1 in 4 SEC games. That type of ratio will get us in......I think.

LSU was overrated and Simmons has things to work on, but he's pretty special.

The NBA scouts don't think Simmons is overrated. The players LSU has now would be a lot better team with somebody other than Johnny Jones as coach. Calipari or Pitino could probably win the NC with this group.
