i agree it looked a lot like Les.
and that's exactly who O looked like against better competition when he was at USC too.

the fans and players loved him because of his personality.
the administration saw that he did very well against garbage defenses and completely shit the bed against the good ones.

He didn't want $aban back and $aban wanted to come back. That didn't pan out so great for us

To be fair to O he has not gotten a true shot (recently) with his own system in place. Both at uscuk and here he is having to make things up on the fly and patch up the holes in the ship from the previous admin.

i think he's ready for another shot as a HC.
but not at a top tier school.

he'll have to start at a lower rung and prove it before being given the keys to one of the big boys.

I don't know if I believe this. So, should we have fired the guy that replaced him and just finished two 10 win season in a row? If Les came in and stunk up the joint then maybe there would have been a chance for Saban to come back. But that didn't happen so here we are.

He hired Miles, didn't he? He could have done worse, but he could have done better. Not sure if he hired a basketball coach but we've never hit a home run there. And the baseball guy seems a lot like Miles.

Doesn't seem like he's interested in doing that.

I'd rather give someone like Fleck a chance than have Jimbo. Sure, with Jimbo we know what we will get. He is good for at least 33 losses in a much weaker ACC, despite having a clear advantage in talent. I agree, with Fleck there is a bit more unknown. I'd rather see a bigger name on his resume, however he has the upside.Honestly, no matter who we go with there is a lot of unknown. There is no sure lock out there like a Saban or Meyer.

A name that isn't getting any mention that should is James Franklin. He turned Penn St around. He is a good coach and recruiter.

how many years will it take him to get those 33 losses?
