    Oh, Saban had the intensity all right. He just wasn't as outgoing or as media friendly. He was and still is more like the Bobby Knight of football.

    OK @HoopHound who was the first NBA player to be credited with shattering a backboard?

    Hint: It's not Chocolate Thunder from the planet Lovetron.

    I just saw it in an artcle last night. It was Chuck Connors, the actor of The Rifleman fame. Connors play with the Celtics from their inaugural season in 1946 and after a few years quit basketball to pitch for the Brooklyn Dodgers and later the Chicago Cubs before going into acting.
