Did we withdraw our offer from this kid? He is listed as a verbal to Okie State. I know there were rumors that he committed to us.

The generally accepted series of events is that Kye called to commit, we told him that it would be best if he visited before he committed, so he could be sure (the preferred method for OOS kids). I don't think he took that well, or it could have been something else...but nonetheless he then committed to OSU. We did want him, but at the time we were in the thick of trying to convince Scott to commit - and still are. May turn out to have been a mistake, but given the series of events and his comments since, I doubt we could have held onto his verbal without getting him in for a visit.
