Even if I could place some more bets I cant even get to the part where to see my other bets.

Oh wow that was so much better to watch knowing there is money on it

Man, that sucks so bad. Eight Belles broke both front ankles on the gallop out and had to be put down on the track.

I absolutely hate seeing that, she was an amazing horse and finished in style by running 2nd in the 20 horse field against all boys.

Dammit I am pissed right now.

Really takes the wind out of my sails when something like that happens. These horses are such incredible athletes.

I am reminded now why I can't watch horse racing, I am struggling to recover from that. How horrible that is, really hurts me.

Well, damned glad I didn't have my daughter watch the Derby with me. Like most 9 year old girls, she's a horse nut and I didn't need to have that discussion with her today.

    Damn.

what are the odds of big brown winning the triple crown? sounds like he is a stud but untested, maybe? i have no horse racing knowledge, just kind of curious.

as for the dead horse i am glad they put him down. while kind of sad at least they realize it is an animal and there is no need for it to suffer any more.
