More and more is coming out that this is what will be the deal. I still am hearing coach o and Wilson are staying unless a head coaching jobs steals them away. This would be a good change IMO
Would you rather have Pelini as DC or Muschamp? I lean towards Pelini. Also, as others have asked, is there any reason why Muschamp would jump ship at AU after only 1 year, unless its a significant pay raise? It would be his 3rd SEC school in 3 years and he's still looking at re-building LSUs D as he's trying to do with AU.
To me the question is do you want to keep Steele or take back muschamp/pelini? Either one is a huge upgrade.
Wouldn't have beaten LSU without Tebow. Remember that game? Chris Leak did nothing and Tebow came in and I wanna say that's the jump pass game and he had about a 50 yarder where LSU sold out on the run and he threw the either a seam route or skinny post for a Catch and run for a TD.
fsu lost on a fluke play they could easily have won with just the kicker making the fg...and played Clemson pretty tough
There is no reason I am aware of for Muschamp to leave AU, unless he just thinks they can't win there, or doesn't get along with Gus.
