Whats the scoop on Downs? With the higher rated tackles having problems - Grades, attitude etc. Did LSU take Downs early knowing this or is he a lot better than Rivals has him rated.
McFarland visited for Texas' Spring game. He did not commit nor did he come close to doing so. It's an all out battle for the #2 player in the nation.
We will not be getting a decision from his anytime soon. According to his coach, he wants to attend a home game @LSU, Texas, and Oklahoma before committing.
Advantage LSU. The only problem is he will probably want to come to one of the big games (e.g., Georgia) and CBS will move it to a day game. Advantage lost.
