1. I've got to agree with Bayou. From my experience officials often influence the game. Very rarely do they determine the outcome.
  2. Rarely but it does happen. Ask the Saints.
  3. You can ask any team. I'm a believer in the old saying that breaks even out over time.
  4. then it’s gonna be a great year for LSU and the Saints

  5. Because there's always the possibility he flipped his head to the left that quickly to watch the rushing lineman, right?

Geez, he's got a handful. You can see his fingers grabbing the facemask.

  7. Well you can believe an old video I will believe the guy who was on the recieving end of the facemask call in his own words below.

McLendon thought it would be of the five-yard incidental variety, but the refs went for the full fifteen personal flag. As McDonald himself would remark, “His hand did brush my face mask, but it was a very, very fortunate call. I was kind of surprised we got the call to tell you the truth.”
  8. Translated: You can believe what you see with your own eyes if you want to...but, I'm going with another version.

This is becoming an all too common theme.

  9. AMAZING! So you are telling me instead of believing Paul McDonald who as USC's QB would be in the undeniably best position to know if his facemask was grabbed or simply just brushed is lying? I am positive McDonald has had his facemask grabbed before and would know what that feels like yet he is wrong and the video is right.

"I tell ya I have heard some doosie's before but this takes the cake"
  10. First of all, it doesn't matter which it was here. It's still a facemask: brushing or grabbing.

Secondly, are you literally going to sit here and continue to argue a picture doesn't show what the picture clearly shows?
