I can understand this. However, I am kind of rethinking this. Florida had 7 opt outs just prior to their bowl game, and they looked like absolute crap. They got destroyed by Oklahoma. Oklahoma! I’m not trying to minimize LSU’s internal problems, but losing so many players off the NC team and then suffering big time opt outs prior to and during the season led to a different kind of team being out on that field for much of the year. Who was that FU team out there on the field against OU? It was a different team and they looked like it.
