1. You’re overlooking the biggest doo doo in the punch bowl . Relief this season is fricking 8-4 .
That’s Tulsa. That shouldn’t be LSU 14 frucking games after a perfect season natty .

  2. If you can say outside of covid, 8-4 is your low bar because of staff turnover (O’s responsibility), OL coaching/recruiting failure (O’s responsibility), culture issues (O’s responsibility), kids leaving early (O’s responsibility), and the future looks bright because these things have been addressed, it’s hard to say that isn’t acceptable (especially considering 2019). If 8-4 becomes the norm, that’s a different issue.

  5. Let's hope we don't have a Clausen replay.....LSU transfer that beats our ass. With the crazy mojo we have with the war chickens I won't put anything off the table. O is playing the Les card by being conservative to look competitive and beg for 1 more year. The bad news for him is he is about to look like a frog in a blender after Kentucky.
  6. Bech is going to be a difference maker sat nite….

  7. I predict that if O isn’t let go by end of year then LSU will see a bigger decline the year after. O is in a flat inverted tailspin and he hasn’t a clue how to restart his engine. JMO as a fan of CFB not poking at you guys but if he were in charge of any big program that I was a fan of, I couldn’t rest easy at night. You guys are skirting the area where Bama was between Stallings and Saban.

  8. I truly think Ed O will be gone and LSU will be ok in a couple years under a new coach. I'm pretty satiated at the moment from 2019 (any fan base not named Alabama would be) and I have zero problem resting easy at night.

I trust Woodward will do the right thing. The only reason O sees next year is if he progresses from where he is now, which would mean he isn't in the tailspin that both you and I believe he is in, and if he is given next year and is unsuccessful he will be gone then. I have a hard time believing LSU will fall very far and think that a new coach will have LSU competing for a playoff spot with a couple seasons.

  9. It's reasonable and a very real possibility. I've always said you need at least two years to see what your coordinators are, so that would be my only counter argument. I think the defense has been improving, and I expect that to continue. The offense is concerning because I don't think the OL is going to ever be any different that it is, at least with the current cast.
