I got my father-in-laws Calloway woods when he died. The set was a 1, 3, 4 & 5 woods. Prior to that the woods in my bag were a driver & 3 wood. I grew to love the 4 and particularly the 5 wood. I could hit that 5 wood out of rough and advance it much further than I could with a long iron.
How many wedges do you carry? As I wrote earlier I only carried the PW & SW.

 

So I only carry a PW and a SW but the sandy is a 1957 tour blade with a greater angle and is really heavy compared to today’s clubs. Otherwise I carry 1,4,&5 woods and the 1-9 irons. I still prefer irons to woods whatever material. I have more control shaping a shot.

 

I used to carry the S&W but my choice to carry now is a Glock .40.

 

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that 15 clubs?
