The best hire ever to bring in a star player was...

Coach Press Maravich who brought his son, Pistol Pete.

We should have hired Archie Manning as a coach

No big loss. The stud in the '17 class is Keytaon Thompson from Landry-Walker.

So was Narcisse. Felipe is the closest thing to a pocket passer that LSU has on the radar although he is definitely considered mobile. I can understand what the staff sees in a mobile QB, but for the life of me I can't understand their obsession with duel threat QB's when they don't run an offense that caters to their ability.

Mobility is one thing, great. But dual threat doesn't work at LSU. Square peg round hole. We can lose out on all of them for eternity and it won't hurt my feelings.

I agree! Until Miles figures out how to use a duel threat QB it will never work.

Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy five-star tight end Isaac Nauta backed off his Florida State pledge on Tuesday.

"I would like to thank all of the coaches at FSU and #NoleNation as well for everything, but I have decommitted to make sure that I make the best possible decision for my future in becoming a man and developing as a student-athlete. Thank you!," Nauta tweeted.

Nauta has recently visited multiple schools including Baylor, Texas, LSU, Georgia and more.

Georgia is considered the top contender for Nauta. He chose the Seminoles over the Bulldogs back in December.

Nauta is ranked by the 247Sports.com Composite as the No. 1 tight end in the nation. He is ranked No. 17 overall.

You need a QB to use a tight end. Unless it's a 1940 offense.
