I think Florida State with a much more expensive coach as well as Texas will be dealing with the same issues.
I would recommend NASCAR to LSU fans. When the team sucks there's nothing that makes you feel good again like watching fast cars making lots of left turns to the accompaniment of the engines roar. It's still one of the few sports that's better live than on TV. You get the smell of racing fuel fumes.
When I was at LSU all you had to do was show your student ID at rhe gate and they would punch a hole in it.
Way more than watching cars drive in ovals for hours. It's kinda like the soccer of motorsports. Lasts forever and only matters at the end.
