I expected to see more out of Quinn since they figured out he was...blind. Apparently they gave him contacts and poof, he found the football. Nothing since much less anything to indicate he may be what was advertised. Late bloomer?
He plays mainly in the slot, LSU only throws to X and Z. It's one of 2 things, we don't have an offense that utilizes the slot, TE's, or RB's in the passing game or our QB isn't good enough to look past his first and second read. Maybe it's both.
You may be right, and coaching is holding Harris back. Then again, Jamarcus Russell went from a 50% completion rate as a freshman, to 60% as a sophmore, to 68% as a junior. Mett went from 59% as a junior to 65% as a senior. Sometimes these guys just need time.
