1. Two possibilities that I can see...1) Their coaching philosophies/styles don't fit with Canada's, or 2)firing of WR coach and reassignment of RB coach could be related to poor recruiting showing at those two positions.
  2. We seemed to miss on some pretty big recruits that were not in the RB/WR class. If its over recruiting I'd like to get more information about exactly why.
  3. Same here. It would be a strength for Oeaux that Miles lacked, cutting losses short and not blurring lines between relationships and business.

  4. From what everyone was saying it wasn't recruiting it was attitude and actual coaching he was lacking. Didn't Craig seal the deal on 2 kids from the mobile area this class?

Juluke is the one im interested in anyway. He was our Frank Wilson replacement with ties to the New Orleans schools like St Aug and Karr
  5. Good point on Juluke. With WR coach position now open, possible replacement could be Curtis Johnson. WR coach for Saints during Super Bowl season, left that job to become head coach at Tulane, most recently WR coach for the Bears, I think, but was just let go in the last week or so. He could be that New Orleans link you need for recruiting. Thoughts?

  6. It's funny you say that, this older gentleman that sits next to me at work was saying last week he was hearing Alabama was going to hire Craig and that he wouldn't be with us after national signing day. I thought he was full of shit, and he said Curtis Johnson would replace him.
  7. I also read that Craig had secured another job, I just assumed it was at Oregon.
  8. I thought Curtis Johnson just got hired on with the saints for WR coach
  9. As of now, the Saints website does not list a receivers' coach. They do list Brad Banta as special teams coach, and he was just hired maybe 2 days ago, so its pretty up to date.
