1. The first Lionel was a lot better than the second Lionel. Ditto the first Darren.
  2. And another mid 70's show..

  3. I forgot about the second Lionel. I think Lionel first show up on All in the Family, the The Jefferson's were a spin off show? Different George too.
  4. The second George replaced the first one on All in the Family before the spinoff.

  7. Proof ...

Redd Foxx plays the poor man Perry Mason

    Idiot thread hijackers aside ...
The post is about the poll ...

TO PLACE LSU OUTSIDE TOP 5 IS JUST PLAIN “IGNRANT” & AS POLITICAL AS A TRUMP IMPEACHMENT ATTEMPT ...

    1. Clemson (59 first-place votes)
    2. Alabama (6)
    3. LSU belongs here!

SHORT MEMORY ... I remember LSU annihilated GA last year ... Anyone???
Bueller??? Has our recruiting been right there at the top? Are we three deep in the lines with enough talent to finally get back to the top ... Do we have a QB with enough “HEART” and skills and brains to dish the ball out to the BEST PASSING CORPS in the SEC ... Do we have enough star RBs in the fold to break off the huge runs like the ones that ROUTED GEORGIA ...

    4. Oklahoma ... LMAO

    5. Ohio State ... DITTO ... These mutts don’t belong in the TOP 10

    Rant over
  8. The hyperbole and fandom is as amusing as its every been.

And then I have to nitpick.

    Who isn't three deep?

Put LSU's two's on the field and you're looking at a 6-6 type of season. I don't know of an SEC that can legitimately claim being two deep right now without a drop off. Teams are lucky if they have six to play five spots. One position can break an offensive line.
  9. @TigerTap All in the Family spun off The Jeffersons, but indirectly, it also spun off Good Times. Florida Evans.... [IMG]
was originally a character on the AitF spinoff Maude. The character Maude was introduced as Edith Bunker's cousin. When Maude (played by Bea Arthur) got her own show, Florida was her housekeeper. I'm giving you all this from memory, but this next part is from wikipedia. The storyline for spinning Florida off for Good Times was that her husband got a promotion, and she quit her job with Maude to be a full-time housewife. But they changed up that premise completely in creating her new show.

  10. Agree with you on the Lionels, not so much on the Darrens. And if you've ever watched Last Man Standing, the first Kristen and the first Mandy blew away the seconds.
