1. I think Fickell is USC bound. A number of prospects will play us for better contracts where they’re at . If we’re introducing a new coach in the administration building in December it’s going to be Aranda. That will be seen as most expedient . Was here for glory years but ..... can you go home again ??
    Thomas Wolfe says no.
  2. You know it's bad when LSU fans got Les Miles trending on Twitter.
  3. I wouldn’t touch a Big 12 coach with an 11 foot pole . They play 7 on 7 there

  4. Victory boobs????
  5. Why do you think it's Aranda? That's not at all what I've heard.
  6. Have you watched much of the SEC lately? There aren't a lot great defenses anymore.

  7. I have no clue but if you’re looking to put out a firestorm in December you prob going to seek out a favorite son who has ties to ‘19 magic dust. Fans would go for it but I don’t think he’s ready for this stage . The problem — who is thats willing to take the job?
Outside the bayou this is going to appear as ‘Holy Shit - two years after 15-0 they gutted the fish ‘ to all whom might be interested .
  8. True
  9. Nite all - if it makes anyone feel better . We survived Hallman . We’ll survive this .

  10. I think you'd be surprised at who all will be interested.

Most coaches know O is terrible and they saw him win coach of the year and field maybe the best team ever by accident because our state is so loaded with talent and a key hire here or there and boom.. magic.

After Les we had the stigma of not producing qbs and this was a black hole for passing offenses and we get owned by Bama 7 years in a row etc..

This time we're 3 straight coaches have won national titles. So if you're a great coach you're gonna have an ego and you will look at this job as your way to secure a legacy. Cause if O can do it, you can do it twice. Saban is also much closer to retirement now also.
