I am very worried about davenport and also Reuben Randle...until these guyscommit i am not covinced because these guys will be ranked in the top 5 at there position and will be 5 start recruits.....USC will be pulling out all the stopss for these guys...just like they did with mcknight
It doesn't matter what USC does. These guys are all-LSU. McKnight was the exception to the rule. Davenport & Randle won't be.
Didn't Davenport's family make it to just about every LSU game last year? Hes about as close to a lock as you can get, I think. He'll take his visits but thats just because hes a good guy and he wants his grandparents to see the country.

CParso and Isltsl have been more knowledgeable about recruiting than the vast majority on this board, and are easily in the top handful. I must say I like their confidence regarding Davenport and Randle. I'll get worried when they say its time to worry, not until then. I'd like to see this be a record class for LSU. Sorta make up for the late 70's and the 90's. Football gods owe us a little, although they have paid us back lately! I think they made up for the Hallman fiasco by now, two national championships should even that score up. :geauxtige
Hell yes, thats fine with me. Mostly because he deserves it. From all accounts Chris is a really great guy that grew up poor. If he wants to take his grandparents to Boston because they love the Red Sox then who are we to complain?
