1. Probably right, but man he is a good coach at his core. And they probably don't make a change next year
  2. He’s been coasting for several years. He hasn’t or can’t hire quality assistants which is the key to maintaining a top quality team. They either can’t evaluate or develop talent so we’re falling behind.
As I noted before this may not be the best time to part ways due to what I see could be disastrous sanctions from the NCAA (loss of institutional control). However as soon as that threat crystallizes or passes its past time to find a new HC.

  5. I agree but I’m just analyzing the situation.
  6. At this point for me, I would rather one extreme or another. Go on an epic tear and get to Omaha or at least win the SEC tournament and win a regional or not make the post season at all. It’s a lot like with ol Lester. This treading water while slowly sinking is putting the program in a hole that’ll be even harder to dig out of the longer it lasts. We need a new voice for sure. Don’t get me wrong, I’d rather Mainieri get to legend status but that seems very highly unlikely.

  7. he only needs 4 more championships to even think about being in that category.
  8. I like my chicken fried.
  9. That ship has sailed, we have like no chance to make any post season
  10. we’ll be in SEC tourney.

but not a regional without an ‘08 type finish
