COTiger 2010 Bowl Pick 'Em Champ

    That would be a disaster.

This is his second season not his first. They were 6-6 in year one.

    ParadiseiNC don't worry, be happy

Yeah, I hear ya. He will succeed, though. The only reason I'm suggesting him is b/c the fit there is not ideal, and I think he is a really good coach who will be successful in the right situation. 7-6, 7-6, 11-2, 12-1 were his records at Louisville, and he beat FLA in the Sugar Bowl. Anyway, hopefully we get Jimbo. I think Strong would be someone to consider though.

I'd take Pete Carroll, put his USC bullshit aside, dude can flat out recruit & coach.

I think most would, HOWEVER, I can almost guarantee that none of these "west coast" types are leaving that kind of geography if they can help it. A desperate guy might but then again, IMO, if this goes down I hope LSU does not get a retread who has failed before. Insert name................Chizik, Petrino, etc etc.

Over in this part of the world, the "word" on the street is Strong is a daily organizational disaster, Texas made a big mistake demanding Art Briles interview in the middle of a very good season, any school should know now what kind of coach he is and will be. (not saying LSU should go after him, just speaking as to why he is not Texas coach now).

I was at the TCU Texas game, it was 31-0 in a little over 1 quarter, Texas special teams would have made LSU fans WORSHIP Peveto they were so bad. EASILY the worst coached team I have ever seen for 1 day. Strong needs to go back to Florida area somewhere..........if Briles had gotten that job, they would not look like they do now. ANYONE that has ever been to Waco knows that Waco makes Baton Rouge look like Maui. The fact Briles can convince the players he continually gets to come to Waco is amazing.

Saban was the true DC not Muschamp and he has done nothing during or since then. Pelini was good but he got tired of carrying Les just like Chavis did. Charly Mac was good but Bear was better.

Pretty good though Muschamp had a damn fine D at Fla. BTW ALL noted were better than Chavis which is my point.

How much criticisms has Les had in the last say 3 years from fans ???

Did he get the money he wanted from LSU ??? I think LSU has to take the blame on the chin . There was a time 17 points would win a game , but we had a D back then . Saban hand picked the LSU defense he wanted to play against this season . The last 4 teams will follow Saban's lead on defense and offense . A&M will dare LSU to pass just like Bama, Ark. and Ole Miss . Do you think we can ???
Chavis knows our offense don't you think ?? The running game will be stopped, if that happens what will we do ?? Another 350 + passing yard game that will not producing enough td's to win the game .? I want the Tigers to win ! But I do not think it will happen
