1. A 10-1 Gator team that beats a 2-9 Florida Atlantic team by 6 is just terrible... hmmm indeed.

  2. They still have a solid defense that we put up 35 on. That's the head scratcher.

  3. Well, if it's Jimbo, I don't think recruiting takes a hit at all. In fact, it may bump up and solidify #1. Likewise, I personally think Charlie Strong would be a great hire for current recruiting.

  4. Hell to nizo on Strong too, with the resources UT has, he can't seem to do shit there either. And while LSU may lose a few recruits because Miles is gone, a hire like Jimbo would solidify some recruits, and bring some in that weren't even on our radar... hopefully a couple being good QB's.
  5. We're talking about defense here my friend. I am not arguing that Florida is a real contender, although on any given Saturday...
  6. I still don't consider Florida a good team, even defensively. LSU put it on'em, yet everyone outside of a weak OOC schedule and Auburn put it on us.
  7. Strong is a good coach. Just a bad fit for Texas. He is not a politician
  8. He doesn't run for office every Saturday, he coaches football. Not too well if his win loss record is any indication.

  9. I've watched several Florida games this year: TN, LSU, Fl Atl, Vandy and UGA. From what I've seen, the talent is there, the scheme is there and the results are there. They are a good defense. Only reason they would have a bad game is bc the offense hangs 'em out to dry ala LSU over most of the past 4 years.

  10. At Texas the coach has to be buddies with the billionaire boosters. Mack Brown was good at it
