1. They are the cats ass for sure but whoever makes em is awful proud. They dont come cheap.
  2. I'm sure they're worth the money but I love those big Old Smokey pits. They only last 3 or so years but I love the way they cook.
  3. I have two green eggs and they are great to cook with, easy to regulate the temperature, can cook just about anything from any meat to Pizza's and it's all fabulous.......but I have to say for overall pure taste of meat nothing beats cooking on an old fashioned pure wood flame, no charcoal.......mesquite is the best I've used.

@lsutiga what's the name of the place in Marksville? I've googled some pretty cool ones....
  4. Made a mistake, it's Breaux Bridge. http://www.cajunmicrowaves.com/microwaves/

  5. Damn, those things are expensive. I'll stick with my Weber that I've had for many, many years.
  6. I have seen them made out of scrap plywood and galvanized roofing tin for nothing and they still roasted the damn pig.

  7. No question it cooks meet into a very tender moist state, however it doesn't seem you'll get any smoke flavor or anything other than what you season your meat with, I think he would use it once then hardly ever again......thanks for the info.

  9. One of the vendors the last couple years had a food booth on the south side of the stadium where they sold pulled pork sandwiches. The pork was cooked on location in a cajun microwave. They were really nice and they also sold them, but I don't know the name or price. Haven't been on that side yet this season so I'm not sure if they're back this year, but they were located by the airplane on the south side.
