A google search indicates that the average NFL Offensive Coordinator makes about $1 million per season (Ranges from $750K to $2.5 million). I have to believe if an NFL team made an offer it would be on the low end of that range due to lack of actual coordinator experience. If I am not mistaken, LSU has offered somewhere around $1.5 million per year.
Rumor is Joe's LSU deal is 4 years roughly 8 million starting at 1.6 next year and escalating each year.
If this is accurate, $2 million per year is up with some of the better paid NFL Offensive Coordinators.
