I'm sure this is also true. Lots of good burger places in Dallas, like Chip's, Snuffer's, Keller's, etc. And in the burbs, Scotty P's.

Yeah there are a bunch. Wingfields is great but down in Oak Cliff. I like Angry Dog a lot too. Balls and Jakes are good also.

Actually the Bishop Arts District on Oak Cliff is pretty cool. There are some really good restaurants like Tillman’s.

Wingfields is definitely in the ghetto though, but worth the trip.

I'm late to the thread but The Chimes (both BR & Covington) has a decent burger. Like Port o'Call and Lakeside Harbor Oscar's on Metairie road has a great burger & baked potato. What is the name of the country bar at the foot of St Charles & Carrolton? It had a great burger a few years ago. I like flame grilled burgers those fried just don't bring out the beef flavor. Therefore I've never liked Dearmans Brewbachers and the like.
And yes the Brass Rail had the best burgers & fries EVER (or so my whiskey soaked mine thought)

I like a burger cooked on a griddle just fine. I especially like a bun that is toasted on a griddle alongside the patty. The old local drive-in style. Sonic still does it that way.
