Camilia Grill, I don't think it has reopened since the storm. Man that place was awesome.

no, but they have a new owner now and it will be reopening. I was told all the particulars, but I have slept since then so I don't remember any of the details.

Times is excellent. You can't go to the one in Mandeville during the week at lunch time and not have to wait. Amazing for a place that focuses on burgers.

You can't understand a thing those waiters say, unless you are fluent in "short-order speak."

Reminds me of the routine Ray Romano did about being a short-order waiter then working at a pharmacy.

Lady: "I'll need somonex and some condoms."
Ray: "SLEEPING BEAUTY HAS A DATE!"

Lady: "Can I get these in a suppository?"
Ray: "BRIDGE IS CLOSED, SHE'S TAKING THE TUNNEL!"

Made my first visit to The Times Friday night and the burger was awesome. Can't recall the last time I was asked how I want my burger cooked. Had the Colossal Jack ... sauteed onions and pepperjack cheese. I will try the Chicken Fried burger next time ... battered and deep fried!

I kept waiting for a health inspector to show up while eating my medium burger.

I was at the Harbor in Lakeview with some friends.

The came to me last, "how do you want it cooked?" "Rare," sez me.

Everyone gave me this shock, disgusted look.

    "make that a medium."

    Wimps . . .

If you are talking about pre-Katrina Lakeview Harbor, that wasn't all that bad a play. They used to grind the meat in-house, several times a day. My friend was one of the owners. I routinely ate a juicy, medium burger at the Harbor when I lived in NO. And the baked potato. Whew!!!:thumb:
