1. $14 is way too much for a burger, fries and a shake.

  6. Negative Ghost Riders. Best burger in Baton Rouge by far is "Times" on Essen and Jones Creek. It originated on the northshore of Lake Pontchartrain and prepares burgers the way you like them. For all the hungry ones, they have a pound and half burger. They also have specialty burgers like a deep fried burger. Try it out, you won't be dissapointed on taste, but know that service is crappy at every one (especially Slidell)

  7. Sorry its gotta be the one at this little gas station on the way to Morgan City from Houma. Right of HWY 90 (Can't remember the exit to many beers today cause of the Saints practice game that aired on tv). It's right across from this bar called Jimmy's Corner Bar. They have them in a crock pot and soaking in some gravy. Tell the girl to throw some Jalepino's on it and OMG.

  8. Closed. :dis:

I enjoy a stuffed burger from Walk-On's, just for something different. George's is hard to beat though.

Honestly, lately, I'm off the burgers. It's been nothing but club sandwiches for the last two months or so. I promise you won't be let down by the grilled chicken club @ Chimes. It's the best club I've ever had.
  9. I agree McGuire's in Destin and Pensacola are damn good burgers. Also Port o calls(sp.?) in N.O.
  10. Dang. I'd forgotten about the Port O Call. Used to eat there all the time during the late 70s - early 80s. They made a fine hamburger back then.
