I loved those live car chase scenes they used to have on all the time. I always root for the driver to get away.

You can see it weekly on live PD. Guy in his underwear stole an ambulance and evaded capture for 90 min last week.

I have only seen 2 get away. 1, guy in a pickup being chase on a dirt road. He crossed some water and the police car got stuck.

    2. Cops chase a car all over LA. He finally enters a multistory parking garage at a mall. Guy gets out and goes into the mall. Cops didn't really know what he looked like.

This is one of my all time favorites. It starts getting good at about 1:28. I kept waiting for about 13 clowns to jump out.

This guy was outrunning everybody, including the chopper. Turns out, the car was stolen and had a tracker in it. He had outrun all of the cops, but they tracked him back down w/ the tracker.

Perfect music for the vid. Guy was probably some hillbilly.

It is a game, but I think physical exertion is a clear part of a sport.

Right. If you call chess a sport why not monopoly and scrabble too?

What about poker? World class players in a marathon poker session that goes on for hours and hours can push themselves to physical exhaustion.

I have a hard time calling a poker player an athlete, or a gamer an athlete. For sure there is a physical attribute to their competitive gaming.

I have a hard time with car racing too, but agree I would call them athletes so probably leave it in the sports arena.

They are cousins in the sporting world.
