    the levee is fine. its not gonna overtop.

    the river collects like a gazillion billion trajillion gallons from like half the country and a bunch of gargantuan rivers. singular rain events dont matter to it.

    the river is high because of shitloads of rain and snow way up north and all over the midwest. 2 days of rain here are not relevant.

    i mean with respect to the river and its possilbilty of breach or overflow, particularly ouside of new orleans.

    we are at no real risk of river levee breach.

    i didnt say rain doesnt flood people.

    There hasn't been much rain yet but they are says that since we are to the southeast of the storm there is going to be lots of rain to come. Maybe 2 to 4 inches per hour.
