One thread works for the baseball season. Wouldn't work for football because there are a lot more posters and each game thread goes to 75 or 80 pages. Multiply that by 13 games as well as other threads about football and by the end of the season we've got a 1500 page thread. If those who bitch about everything would just confine it to this thread maybe the baseball and football God's won't be angered.
