We need to land them both, plus a couple out of state guys. LB recruiting has been horrible for years.

Well we got one of them already in Trey Granier out of Thib. 1 or 2 others will get strong looks in camp. I will post something on the 2012 LBs as soon as I can.

Not sure. I will have to see how work goes that day and just pop in if the work day is slow.

bhelm, you think Granier sticks with the recent Auburn invasion of thibideaux?

    Yes...

He will not have the same handler as Reed and G-Rob. The new Thib coach will do everything in his power to keep that guy away from the team.

DD says there are at least 4 big time linebackers in the state for the 2012 recruiting year. Will LSU recruit & sign that many from Louisiana? Are there that many SEC Linebackers in Louisiana for 2012? Trey Granier being one who is already committed to LSU. I understand the comment about Auburn having a foothold in Thibodaux but that hasn't affected Granier has it?

There are a few LA LBs who I have started threads for already who could gain offers from LSU.

Grainer doesn't have the same handler as Reed and Robinson. Their new HS coach will not let that guy near the high school from what I have heard.

Just wondering how many "ships" we will have for 2012?

    LSU is losing 15-16 Seniors.
