or the undefeatedness. but the point scale shows the true story 1 Ohio State .9759 2 Boston College .9501 3 LSU .9114 4 Arizona State .7629 they are fourth, but very far behind
Well, the "undefeatedness" would be the reason for the high computer scores. Look for Kansas to make some noise as well if they don't lose.
While I have no reason to believe either can do it, if either Arizona State or Kansas FINISH undefeated, they would probably jump us. Especially ASU, they'd have to beat Cal, UCLA, Oregon, and USC
I think Kansas would be the only one with the chance to go undefeated with only Mizz waiting in the wings! HOWEVER that game is played in KC so no one gets homefield. IF ASU runs that route without a lose, I will take a page from Southpark and put Big Wee's Balls in my mouth!
I had the chance to watch ASU a few weeks ago and they are pretty good. Their defense is coming around nicely...I would much rather play OSU.
ASU has some issues to deal with most notably the season ending injury to their primary RB, Ryan Torain. He was a significant part of their O. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=3068427 Interesting note as well, Jack Elway gave a verbal commitment today to the Sun Devils. Dennis Erickson is a solid coach. We'll see how the Devils handle kal on Saturday.
