    You're lost.

I am talking about the very first drive in which we went for the endzone from about the 15 yard line. Jefferson got too excited and threw the ball way too early and the ball landed some 3 yards beyond TT's reach in the left corner. TT had an easy touchdown.

well he did on this play. watch it again.

It wasn't a fade from the 3. It was from the 15, which means it will take time for TT to run to a spot on the field some 23-24 yards.

I have no problem with a B+. The penalty was ticky tack, no doubt.

I think most who watched would agree TT ran a chit route.

The play call was perfect. We got them on 1 on 1 with big TT.

Jefferson HAS to hit that play. He didn't even have to throw it perfectly, that CB had no chance on the much taller Toliver.

    v. vandy JJ was 8/20 for 96 yards
tonight he was 10/16 for 96 yards... better percentage but the same horrible production.

offense, considering we scored on all but two possessions would get at least a B, however because of the five FGs, i have to drop it down to a C+, which brings me to special teams: this is a SOLID A. defense, A- because they played soft on that lone, State scoring drive. i don't care that they scored, but they showed that they're vulnerable to the no-huddle, hurry offense.

i think as a team, i can't really go any lower than a B. great job all-around. the score wouldn't indicate, but we out-played this team in every phase of the game.

It was one of two bad passes from JJ tonight. I thought he threw it early as well although Tolliver still had a shot to catch it.

Defense was awesome. Made some adjustments at half and finally put a semi-quality team away in the second half, which hasn't happened in a while that I can remember. We seem to be improving in most areas from week to week, although the offense still leaves a bit to be desired. Overall, I feel pretty good about the direction the team is heading.

One complaint is that I hate the option, and don't like JJ running it. But since we insist on running it multiple times a game, I have a question (I really don't know much about it). Occasionally, don't you throw out of the option? We run the same keeper/pitch every single time, it seems like other option offenses either have a fullback dive option or a step back and throw. Don't think I would like it anymore than I do now, but was curious if I am missing something.
