I used to call myself a proud member of these forums, but now I rethink my initial enthusiasm. I have been talking to my son via the internet in Iraq and have been hit with a sobering thought, you guys bitch to much. When was the last time LSU had a 10 win season? How often does it happen? Why can't you just enjoy what our team has done? The accomplishments this team has achieved are insurmountable. I have but one thing to say to you non-believers, get with it guys, we're a championship caliber ball club. We have come from behind on numerous occasions and have overcome adversity as many times as it has been offered. Who's next, Georgia, bring em on.
Right on Tigah Bait! The negativity on this board is downright irrational at times. We are 10-1, winners of the SEC West, ranked #3 in the nation, and these ingrates are not satisfied??? Shame on them. With supporters like these, if the head coaching job opens again, and you're a top flight head coach comfortably ensconsed at a major university, would you give up your secure job to come coach this team? Fans failing to rally around a 10-1 coach. My god, we sound worse than Ole Miss last year with Cutcliffe. When you see something good, you gotta say it is good. If you were dead wrong in Sept., have the guts to just say you were wrong. Some people shot their mouths off too early, they were wrong, and now their egos are too fragile to admit they were wrong. This has been a very successful season to date, and I'd like to see us turn it into an exceptional season with two more wins. I think it is possible.
those ingrates are never satisfied unless we win 50 to 0 every week....put up 500 yards of offense, hold our opponent to 200 yards or less, no turnovers, no penalties....oh! and that it´s done with Saban on the sidelines...... anything less, they consider a horrible shortcoming.... Well said, Tigerbait!
I gotta agree with you there, pal. A win is a win, and I'll take it. Arkansas came into this game with absolutely nothing to lose, and only us to embarass. Gimme a break. How often does it have to be proven that championship caliber teams find ways to win despite the best efforts of the opponent? Lots of different factors go into winning or losing, but the winner is always the better team, on this night, for this season. This is the SEC. Every single constituent team is dangerous, national rankings notwithstanding.
Glad to see some faithful supporters like myself of an athletic program on the rise. I have every confidence in the school and the team to deliver their very best at all times. We wll succeed! One more step before we take the final exam, Georgia, good luck students.
it´s a wonder that ANY blue chip recruit outside of the state of louisiana would want to come to LSU with the amount of fans that think 10-1 seasons are failure and that the head coach of the 2005 SEC Western Division champs is thrown under a bus on message forums for every reason under the sun....
