I'm talking about the 17 POWs featured in "Stolen Honor."

I'm very sorry they were captured and sometimes tortured. But in no way, shape, or form was that John Kerry's fault.

Are any of the many soldiers now coming back from Iraq who protest our occupation there in any way responsible for insurgents torturing or beheading their captives? No, they are not. The insurgents, alone, are to blame for their deeds.

Knowing that a longer war would have meant more deaths and more POWs like themselves, the bastards in this "Stolen Honor" crockumentary are forced to construct some sort of cockamamie "theory" that Kerry's and other veterans' protests PROLONGED the war. But it's an argument for pure idiots. The Vietnam War lasted precisely as long as OUR GOVERNMENT wanted it to last. The USA was not bound by any logical or rational necessity to respond to ANY Viet Cong offensive; we could have done what we ultimately WOULD do: leave the ****ing place.

Even if it were true (and it's not) that Kerry's protests prolonged the war, the bastards still would fall far short of proving that Kerry did it intentionally or nefariously.

These guys should be ashamed of themselves. "Stolen Honor"? Bull****. They SURRENDERED their honor when they allowed themselves to be a part of this smear campaign, and when they adopted the insane position that it's traitorous to protest senseless wars.

Well Rex, I'm sure those 17 former POW's would think you're one sorry son of a bitch yourself, if they even gave a rat's ass enough to form an opinion of you.:thumb:

I mostly, just feel sorry for rex's family, from reading his posts, its painfully obvious, if they were attacked by any outside force, rex is not mentally equipped to defend them, but would be first in line, to blame someone else for their demise.

I do wish he would tell us the secret of how the lair got rid of him. A little info could go a long way.:thumb: :hihi:

So, calling POW's, bastards, is your way of honoring them.(Nice Guy) Could this be because they dare to call a spade a spade. Well they spent time in a pow camp being tortured, not seeing how fast they could get 3 purple bandaids and out of country.

I bet they never spent one minute, thinking about what medals they may receive, much less writing letters on their own behalf to receive them, the way your hero did. You 2 chicken littles deserve each other.

c'mon, admit it. you'd be a lot more bored without the drivel of rex to play with on a daily basis. Albeit, very scary to know views like that exist in those deep, dark places. I wish I could say he was playing devil's advocate but sadly he isn't.
