Most wins vs AP top 3 teams since 2006. Nick Saban 7 Les Miles 6 Urban Meyer 4 At some point some of you guys are going to have to admit that that's not all just dumb luck. I'm not arguing that the dude loses his shit and does some dumb things at times, but that's a pretty remarkable stat.
I've always said that Miles does many things you expect a HC to do at an extremely high level. It's just that the couple things he does bad he does really bad and it limits his success. Miles is a really good HC that makes you want to pull all of your hair out and will have you puking blood far too often.
I'm a Miles fan but those wins were all 2011 or before. As I said before Les needs to reflect and regain the drive and fire that he had earlier.
No doubt about it Miles has done a heck of a job at LSU. He has won a BCS title. He has run a clean program. His kids love him and he loves LSU. That said, it is a what have you done for me lately. If he wants to be mentioned with Saban and Meyer then he has to win better than in recent years. He has to beat Saban. No excuse for youth because OSU just won with a third string QB and a ton of youth.
