http://www.shreveporttimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060209/SPORTS0202/602090324/1001/SPORTS does this up his draft status now, instead of dropping it?
http://www.dandydon.com/ "If the sheriff deputy was wrong"? Give me a break. He was doing his job and Jerry Jones, the D.A., is a huge piece of ****. :dis: Lesson learned by Wroten....I'm above the law. Meanwhile, the deputy is wondering why even bother.
I saw Wroten this morning as he flew out to Orlando and from speaking with him, the lesson he learned is "I'm lucky as hell and I won't ever do that again."
I hope you're right. If they wanted to drop the charges, then drop the damn charges. Don't blame it on the deputies. The deputies were doing their jobs.
Why even bother to bust LSU players? They get off scott free every time. Nothing ever happens to these guys. The Gods will always prevail.
Well, in the ESPN article Jerry Jones refused to give a reason for the dismissal of charges... *cough* *cough* Also, these were Sterlington cops, right? My dad once got a ticket for doing 3 mph over the speed limit down the main drag.
And you wonder why nobody likes you? It's not unique to LSU, it happens everywhere. People with connections get off all the time. It's almost as bad as those who get a gig b/c of daddy....
