I feel bad for the birds. You don't really appreciate the size and grace of them until you see them up close.
Personally I get sick and tired of the jargon about the Ole Miss mascot. I don't like Ole Miss any more than most of you. But to shelf tradition as they have done, because it reflects on the past is BS. Put it in the past my a$$. When I see the Reb that is not my thought. There are no slaves or slave owners living that we know about unless you listen to loud mouth JJ. It's the same with FSU or the Atlanta braves regarding the war chant. It's not about tradition anymore, it's about who's ass is offended. The majority rules and if this OM president says the majority has spoken, I say he is full of it. I'm sick and tired of giving everything away because of a select group can't deal with it. It's just like prayer or singing songs that relate to or reference the Lord. If you don't want to attend games because of colonel reb then stay home. If you don't want to play because of colonel reb , go some where else or suit up and shut up.
