I live in Orlando and the Citrus Bowl has a new field after last year's debacle. However, I would rather see LSU play in the Cotton Bowl because I think with that game moving to Texas Stadium it is just a matter of time before the Cotton Bowl becomes a member of the BCS bowl system. Many of us old timers remember when the Cotton, Sugar, Orange, and Rose Bowl were the big ones, and the Fiesta was just an after thought.
:geaux: You can post anyway you want Chief, but stand the phuck by for someone to get back in your face if they don't agree with you. People don't have to agree with you on here and they will let you know when they don't. If you've got such a thin skin maybe you need to GTFO and go post somewhere else where everyone agrees with you, newbie. And yeah, you do need to lighten up, son. :LSU231:
Agreed! The field, stadium, and surrounding area are unacceptable for a bowl game. We're very lucky there were no major injuries last year. WORST FIELD EVER!!!
I also don't care for the location of the Cap One Bowl; it is subject to the weather conditions. I am guessing there will be high school championship games before the Cap One Bowl like last year. I'd rather have a field where each team can be at their best, so the Cotton Bowl would be a nice choice.
Thats what forums are all about ... agree and disagree...negative and positive....i see you take great pride in the # of post you have on this site..maybe you should get out of the house and get a life....In my face? you're on the internet...look son..i'm not one of these little young college kids ..so dont come at me with this internet tough guy bullchit....STFU and keep it movin.... i'm finished with this...peace.. lets talk football.......................................................
:geaux: That's right son...just STFU. :rolleye33: And to top it all off you just picked door #3 and won a one way ticket to Ignore Button Land. Congrats. :LSU231:
It's been said a few times...but apparently overlooked... The field has been changed...and is FIELD TURF. That said, let's go to the Cotton. I hate the Cap One Bowl.
I don't care what you post, and you can post anything you want within the rules. However, expect that if you post something stupid...some will ignore it, and others will consider you stupid. I'm not gonna call you stupid, but your post sure was. I'm pretty certain I've posted stupid shyt on here too though. I just try not to make a habit of it.
Yeah, back in the day, I think the Rose was the King, the other three were about equal, and that was it. Whatever else was around was clearly second tier..and you know the earth still spun and the sun still rose every morning. Cotton should always trump the Capital One bowl. Every day. hwr geaux tigers
It doesn't matter, The Cap One has a new artificial turf field. Ever been in Dallas in January? Think windy and cold, occasionally ice storm. Dallas is a horrible bowl destination. And nothing much for visiting fans to do compared to Orlando.
