Would it kill ABC to mention LSU players when listing this year's greatest players. Somehow none of our defensive guys rank on their "best of the year" list. And just now, they called ND a quaility opponent. What gives? Are they trying to build up SC's schedule a little bit here? I think I might get sick if I hear anymore SC praise on ABC, does ABC even know if the SEC fields teams anymore?
ABC plays Big 12, Big 10, and Pac 10 games almost all year. CBS is the SEC station...thus all the USC love for MNC by ABC/ESPN.
I was just thinking about that mesquite, right after I started this thread. It is in ABC's best interest to talk SC and Okla, while building up their afternoon slate of games. It just seems CBS is more open to talking about the other games, and I would think ABC (at this point in the season) would do itself some good talking about the other teams that will play in their televised BCS bowls. I need to get myself ready for the 3 hour SC love fest we are about to see on ABC, I just know it is going to be frustrating to watch and listen (I just might put the Army/navy volume on).

Last week during ARK, they talked about SC. Not like ABC does, but basically said that LSU and SC are too close to call. They also said that Okla was playing on another level than everybody else. CBS seems to cover the entire league better than ABC does, even though CBS only really covers one conference. ABC has good reason to build up their conferneces though, but I don't think they should exclude SEC players from their "best players of the year" lists.
Before the USC game just now the ABC guys were talking about how "Some say" that a USC - OK matchup would be the best, and that no offense to LSU who is a "very good" team, USC just has more explosiveness and better athletes. Suuuurreeee they do.....

they also said that Oregan st has the best D in the Pac 10, But USC would have better athletes and a better chance against Oklahoma AND SORRY, Oklahoma hasn't played anyone yet, I predict they will barely beat Kansas st if they do.............. Alabama played them the closest after all.... I think Oklahoma isn't as good as people think... LSU could hang with em
