World Championship Gumbo Cookoff

    It's this weekend in downtown New Iberia. Anybody going? I went last year and will be there this year. It's a great time and some wonderful gumbo to eat.

    I'll be Super 1 Food's tent. They been competing for like 10 yrs. Definately a bunch of people and lots of good food.

    Ha! I'm not cooking. I'm just going to greet people and drink free beer. I'm going to be in BR Saturday too. Might swing by and see yall again, depends on son's soccer game.

    Man I would love to go to that. I'd love to compete in it, but am pretty sure I would get my a$$ kicked. Bet I'd learn a lot though!

    I would love to enter and make my seafood gumbo. I have never entered a cooking contest but my gumbo is better than I have ever had in any restaurant I have ever eaten at.
