What an idiot. All he had to do was make the minimum GPA and coast to millions of dollars in the NFL, but that proved to be too difficult of a task for him. I guess he was thrown off the team because he missed some classes adn meetings again? LMAO.
Now is a LOT BETTER time than anytime during the season. RP had many, many chances. He will be playing SWAC ball next year and missing the limelight. That might be exactly what he needs.
File him in the Cecil Collins folder. An AMAZING talent with the world at his fingertips. I dont know the details but some kids struggle with fame, and sadly in todays college football that is what they are. When I see grown men getting autographs of 18 year old kids or them in video game you are naturally going to have some who cannot handle it. Good luck RP I hope you land on your feet.
Whoaaaaaaa.... I wouldn't go THAT far. http://video.aol.com/video-detail/exclusive-cecil-collins-jailhouse-interview/4023563254 Phew. Had me worried for a second.
i think whats more likely is that miles knew RP was gonna have grade trouble and thought the suspension may improve the chances that he'd make the grades. of course, if the drug thing is true then this all bs.
true. on all counts. i find it sad that a young man that also now has a child to support just pissed away his future. but one player does not make a team. this may be a setback, but its not the end of the world. besides, better that it happen now than in the middle of sec play leaving us with no qb with real experience. hatch and lee (and jefferson?) have north texas, troy, and tbd to get experience leading the tigers. as far as im concerned, this is still a "damned strong team"!
Think about this from Hatch and Lee's point of views. Imagine you were 2nd string behind someone who had the talent but not the discipline or character, someone who seem to always be getting his hand slapped with a warning. They have to see the opportunity they have been given and seize it.
