You BCS guru's out there tell us what the chances are with BC's poor performance combined with a decisive win over bama that we jump them after the game next Sat.

I doubt it. Va Tech is a top ten team. They allow poor performances against teams like that if you win. Maybe gain a little ground but i doubt we pass them.

maui...we have a tigerforuma bcs guru, its why we pay him so well. when he floats in in his white cloth..all questions will be answers. just wait.

now if we can get a nfl qb rating guru i will have their babies.

I agree. Their win was similar to your win against Auburn last week. Both were great endings. Both teams did what it took to win the game.

I dont think there is a chance we pass up BC at this point even with a big victory. We will have about the same computer ranking, BC might gain on us slightly in the computers.

    Comp. Points:
    BC .970
    LSU .960

We are down 116 points in the Harris and 93 points down in the Coaches Poll.

I dont think the voters will be dropping them from 2nd especially with all the 4th quarter hype BS they were feeding the nation.

Overall we would gain some ground and possibly be able to pass them up down the road.

Veeery doubtful. BC is undefeated and beat a Top 10 team on the road. At this point in the season, voters will not jump a 1-loss over an undefeated team. On the other hand, at season's end, their SOS could be detrimental.

Consider that with Bama at #22 in the AP, by next week LSU will have played 4 consecutive Top 25 teams, with 6 of the 9 games on the season against Top 25 teams (4 of those in the AP Top 15 as of this week). IF (a big if) LSU runs the table (including playing and beating UF twice), any poll that puts us behind tOSU, BC, OU, or Kansas given their relatively pathetic SOS would have serious credibility problems.

Poor performance? They won on the road against a top 10 team, we lost on the road to #14. There's no reason to expect such a move.

I do think we will gain on them with a big win. After watching last nights game I am convinced BC will lose or the ACC is absolutely terrible.

Lets see.... Their remaining schedule... Florida State, Maryland, Clemson, Miami, then a possible rematch in championship game with Va Tech. Nothing to worry about here, they will lose, right? .....
