It seems to me we will. Penn State has to drop. Florida State should drop below us. Notre Dame should drop below us with two losses. Texas Tech will probably stay below us and UCLA definitely will stay below us.
Rankings will be AP USC Texas Virginia Tech Georgia Alabama Miami Florida St. UCLA LSU Texas Tech Coaches' Poll USC Texas Virginia Tech Georgia Alabama Miami LSU Texas Tech Florida St. UCLA
loco, you really are loco. UCLA was almost 200 pts behind us in the AP poll and we beat a #11 team in their poll. What you smokin? And FSU will fall below us in that poll as well. That was just a bad loss for FSU...period. It's #7 across the board for the Tigers. And additionally, we have gained ground on the Tide, as they played some pretty uninspired football yesterday.
I think he's probably very close IMO. Although I would always post the Coaches Poll first, as the AP really is meaningless in the BCS Bowl scenarios. IMO, the AP wants to raise UCLA as high as possible for the ASU game & ultimately the USC game..ratings. I do agree on FSU, they should drop 1-2 spots behind LSU though. :geauxtige
We can see how real these polls are if TTU jumps LSU. It should not happen, and if TTU does, it is to provide more hype to the TTU\texas game next week. Seems like I would just get other this media conspiracy thing, but....
Can we please stop worrying about the AP poll? It's the Coaches and Harris polls that matters. We should be 7 in both polls. TT may jump us, but that really doesn't bother me since they are undefeated. They get Texas next week, so we'll find out how good they are. FSU will fall to 10.

So, we control our destiny with regards to Alabama (and probably UGA). VT and Miami will have to play. So, that could put us at 4, provided we keep winning, without any additional divine intervention. We're in better shape than we were at this point in the season in '03.
