Tough row to hoe after losses to Auburn and LSU ... and lost that OL with torn ligaments (Smith) in the LSU game

MSU should recover and could play "spoiler" in late SEC games in 2011.

I see them beating La Tech, maybe even Georgia (toss up), UAB, losing to Spurrier & USC, beating Kentucky & Tennessee-Martin ... all this ...

MSU could be 6 - 3 (3 SEC losses) facing Alabama in Starkville the week after LSU plays Bama ... Remember the "week after" syndrome where LSU opponents have a strong tendency to lose

    ...Can you spell S~P~O~I~L~E~R ... I can ... It's M~S~U

Then they face Arkansas in Starkville again ... This is before LSU hosts Ark

All the while LSU faces Ole Miss ... I like this schedule break ... Advantage LSU

I see MSU finishing 7 -5 or 6 - 6 and getting an egg bowl win and a Christmas Bowl

It would be heaven on earth if we beat bama and state beats them the next week and knocks them out of the seccg picture. While we're at it , state beats arky too! Go state!

State needs to just focus on beating someone, anyone, from the West not named Ole Miss as the first step to relevance. That graphic ESPN displayed during the game was shocking.

With 9 returners on offense and 7 on the other side, this is their chance. Don't know if they get pass 7 wins. At UGA and Ark are the kickers.

In 2007 we beat them 45-0 the first game for both teams. I called my niece (Shes married to a Moo St. grad) I told her to tell him don't worry, they would be going to a bowl. He didn't think I knew what I was talking about, well up to last year, that was the last bowl game they had seen. After they beat bama that year, I called to say someone was going bowling. He trusts my opinion a lot more now. Best of luck to them the rest of the year.......

A quote from my friend, "If they are such a good team, why don't they beat somebody?"
