I am afraid so. It cost us the Auburn game last year and almost cost us the Ole Miss game. Last night it might have cost us the UK game.

Everyt time Perrilloux comes in something good happens. Everytime he came in they stacked the box and were waiting for him to run and we only tried one or two passes with him.

Hester was injured early in the game, yet we continued to use him. Even though Scott was on fire. I just dont get this. Hester obviously wasnt on top of his game while Scott was.

i do think the injury effected hester and one of my big question after the game was why the guy with 91 yds at halftime had only 3 yds in the 2nd half and OT's.

i disagree on the qb thing, i do think we need to see a little more of perrilloux but i don't think everything would change for the better if he just played more.

Im not saying to bench Matt for Ryan, but Ryan should play more.

And Hester had a bruised though, Im sure it effected him.

Why not put Ryan in there for the option on the short down...like 4th and 2???
I think it's great you reward a player for loyalty and all...but not at the cost of a win. And didn't Miles said before that if a RB has the hot hand he will continue to get the rock???

There are no indications that he will change. I'm sure there are plenty of folks that will respond with "he knows more about them than we do and he's obviously brilliant" but that doesn't hold much water on this topic, when you consider injuries and productivity.

We saw it with Vincent and we're seeing it with Flynn and Hester.

Good post. Perhaps when CLM said in the post-game that "I have to do a better job coaching," he meant "I have to play the right guys."

    Perhaps.

Perhaps not, but you won't know until you try. One thing was for certain; Ryan did not play well. Your depth chart cannot etched in granite. Miles should have put in Perrilloux in the 4th quarter.

I would like to see a different substitution pattern. For most kids, leave them in the game for a while, unless a certain situation comes up that they are particularly ill-suited for. Take Charles Scott, he got hot, I'd leave him in for a quarter, hand him the ball. Let him get the feel of the game. If his production slows down a lot, put Keiland in, and if he's hot, leave him in for a good while. Same for Perrilloux, Tolliver and anyone.
